Pioneers Pull Away Early Before Weather Cuts Game Short

Western Reserve Academy Boys Varsity Lacrosse earned a convincing 9–3 home victory over St. Michael's College School on March 31, in a game that was shortened due to inclement weather.

The Bulldogs matched WRA early, as the teams were tied 2–2 at the end of the first quarter. The Pioneers seized control in the second, outscoring St. Michael's 4–1 to take a 6–3 lead into halftime. WRA continued to build momentum in the third quarter, extending the lead to 9–3 before the game was called.

Graham Ewing '26 delivered an efficient offensive performance, finishing with two goals and one assist while shooting 100%. In goal, Michael Rodosky '27 anchored the defense with a strong outing, recording 8 saves on 11 shots and helping limit St. Michael's scoring opportunities.

WRA will look to build on the win when they return to action at home on Thursday, April 2, against Everest Academy.
