The WRA Girls Varsity Soccer team fought hard on Saturday but came up short in a 2–0 loss to Beaumont. The visitors struck twice in the first half to take control of the match, and despite an improved second-half effort, the Pioneers were unable to break through offensively.
Freshman goalkeeper Sydney Swiderski '28 kept WRA in the contest with a composed performance between the posts, recording four saves against a strong Beaumont attack.
The Pioneers will look to regroup quickly as they head on the road to face Kenston on Monday, September 29.
