WRA Prep Lacrosse delivered a commanding performance on the road April 23, overpowering Upper Arlington High School with a final score of 16 – 5.
The Pioneers came out firing, surging to a 12–3 lead by halftime and never looking back. The offensive momentum continued into the second half, with contributions from across the lineup — including big goals from some unexpected standouts. Tavin Jones, Zane McGruder and Erik Young all found the back of the net, adding depth and surprise to the team's scoring efforts.
Anchoring the defense was another standout showing from goalie Sam Beach, who kept Upper Arlington in check with key saves and quick reactions between the pipes.
With confidence high and teamwork shining on both ends of the field, WRA looks ahead to their next matchup: an away game at The Hill School on Sunday, April 27.
