On April 12, the Boys Varsity Volleyball team took on a tough opponent in Walsh Jesuit, ultimately falling 0–2 in the match. Set scores were 11–25 and 18–25, with the Pioneers finding their rhythm late in the game.
Despite the loss, the team showed adaptability and resilience. With one player sidelined due to injury and two others absent, the remaining athletes adjusted quickly to a new lineup, many stepping into unfamiliar roles and positions on the court.
The match marked the varsity debut of Grant Adams '26, who made a promising first appearance. Jayden Kersh '26 also stood out, delivering several key assists that helped spark momentum during the second set.
Earlier in the season, the team earned a 6th place finish at the competitive Polar Bear Tournament, demonstrating both growth and potential as they continue to develop team chemistry and on-court communication.
