On April 16, the Boys Baseball team staged a dramatic comeback to defeat Kiski 5–4 in an exciting away victory.
Pitching was a standout strength for the Pioneers, with Kenneth Arter '26 and Captain Ian Kolencik '25 combining for a stellar outing. The duo allowed just two earned runs across the game, keeping WRA within reach as the innings unfolded.
Trailing 1–4 going into the final frame, the Pioneers showed grit and patience at the plate, drawing three clutch walks to load the bases. Cleanup hitter Kalen Mulligan '27 then stepped up and delivered the moment of the game — a massive double that cleared the bases and flipped the score in WRA's favor.
The comeback marked a gritty team win and another strong chapter in the Pioneers' growing season. Well done, Pios!
