The Boys Baseball team traveled to face Streetsboro on April 10, falling 0–4 in a hard-fought contest. Though the Pioneers struggled at the plate, their defensive effort stood out in a game that showed how far the team has come.
Captain Ian Kolencik '25 delivered a gritty complete game on the mound, bouncing back from a tough first inning to hold the Rockets scoreless over the final five frames. His poise and leadership helped anchor the defense and keep WRA in striking distance.
While the bats stayed quiet, the team's resilience was evident — especially against a Streetsboro squad that had defeated WRA by double digits in each of their last four meetings.
This game marked a meaningful step forward for the Pioneers, with plenty to build on as the season continues.
