WRA Girls Varsity Basketball Dominates Toledo Central Catholic in First Game Back from Winter Break

After a two-and-a-half-week winter break, the WRA Girls Varsity Basketball team returned to action in spectacular form, cruising to a dominant 65-27 road victory against Toledo Central Catholic. From the opening tip, WRA set the tone and maintained control throughout, with all 13 players seeing action.

The team showcased remarkable efficiency, shooting 58% from the field and 46% from beyond the arc, while tallying an impressive 23 assists. Offensively, WRA was led by strong performances from Islay Moore '25, Brooklyn Hall '26, Jordyn Steindl '25, and Sheridan Oberhand '25. Defensively, the team's energy and discipline stifled Toledo Central Catholic, creating opportunities in transition and holding their opponent to just 27 points.

This comprehensive team effort extends WRA's winning streak and sets the stage for a challenging stretch of games, with six of the next eight contests being played at home.
