The WRA Girls Soccer team fought hard to come back from an early 2-0 deficit on Saturday vs CVCA. The first goal came from a build in the midfield. Maddie McNamara '27 played a diagonal ball into Ky Hau Golden '25 who scored from 30 yards out. The second goal was a deflection off the goalie from a shot taken by Maddie McNamara. Brenna Pethel '25 crashed the goal off the shot and knocked it in for her first goal of the season. The final goal was scored off a free kick taken by Maddie McNamara into Ky Hau Golden who placed it in the side of the goal. The defense had a very strong showing in the 2nd half and battled hard to keep CVCA off the score board resulting in a 3-2 win!
