On Aug. 24, 2024, Girls Soccer fought valiantly against Columbus Academy but ultimately fell to the visiting team. Head Coach Tara Bowen described it as a tough loss, with plenty of scoring opportunities. She cites a couple of communication errors resulting in goals scored on WRA.

"But the team played well after only being together for five days, and we look forward to the growth that will come from what we learned from this game," shared Coach Bowen.

The team showed strength in great possession of the ball, and they did well building into attacking 1/3 of the field. The final score was WRA 0, CA -3.
