The second day of She Hoops Ohio's Thrill in the Ville saw WRA facing the host, Westerville South HS. In a game that featured two top juniors in the country between WRA's
Brooklyn Hall (ESPN #57) and Westerville South's Ariyana Cradle (ESPN #41), it was WRA who came ready to play from the jump. The Wildcats were not ready for WRA's defense, and the girls played their most complete first quarter of the season, leading the Wildcats 22-6 and never looked back from it. WRA's largest lead of the half was at halftime, with the Pioneers up 39-10, completely shutting down Westerville South's offense, holding Cradle to only 6 points. WRA got the lead up to as much as 30, but the Wildcats did not quit, picking up their pressure and intensity on defense, allowing them to chip away a bit at the lead. After three, the score was 51-28. A solid defensive fourth quarter of battling against their defensive pressure saw the game end with a final score of 64-47.
Brooklyn Hall '26 led all scorers in the game with 18 points.
The girls will be back on the road next weekend in Washington, D.C. at the She Got Game Classic opening up against back-to-back-to-back-to-back Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association (VISAA) Divsion II champions, Virginia Academy. The game will be played at St. John's College HS in Washington, D.C. Sunday's game at She Got Game will be at The St. James in Springfield, VA against Oak City Prep (NC).
