The WRA Varsity Golf team suffered its first loss of the season Monday, September 14, falling to CVCA by the narrowest of margins, 167-166, on the road.

Playing on CVCA's Senior Night, the Pios faced a strong and energized opponent. WRA didn't have its best day on the course, leaving several strokes out there, but continued to battle and kept the match within reach all the way to the end.

In a fittingly dramatic finish, the match came down to the final putt, with CVCA holding on for the one-stroke victory.

Despite the tough result, WRA showed plenty of fight against a strong CVCA team. The Pios will look to bounce back from their first setback of the season and return to the win column in their next match.
