The WRA Varsity Golf team got its revenge Tuesday, September 22, defeating CVCA 162-164 at home to avenge its only loss of the season.

Johnny Swegan led the way for the Pios with a strong round of 38, while Sophia Goheen added a 39 to help WRA edge CVCA by two strokes in another tightly contested matchup.

The victory was especially meaningful after CVCA handed WRA its only loss of the season just eight days earlier. With the two teams splitting their head-to-head matches, WRA claimed the season series by the narrowest possible margin—one stroke across the two contests.

After falling by one stroke on the road, the Pios answered with a two-stroke victory at home, closing out the season series in dramatic fashion.
