The WRA Girls Varsity Volleyball team defended their home court on Wednesday night with a 3–0 sweep over Spire Academy, earning the win with set scores of 25–19, 25–15, and 27–25.
Senior Nicole Neal '26 powered the offense with an outstanding 24 kills, leading the attack from start to finish. Fellow senior Maria Moran '26 controlled the service line, delivering 26 serves with 5 aces to keep Spire on the defensive. Freshman Cameron Van Dyke '29 provided a strong presence at the net with 4 blocks, while setter Riley Brainerd '28 dished out 28 assists to orchestrate the attack.
The win showcased the Pioneers' balance across the lineup and their ability to close out a tight third set under pressure.
WRA now heads on the road Friday, October 3, to take on Firestone.
