The WRA Girls Varsity Volleyball team earned a solid home win on Wednesday, October 8, defeating Andrews Osborne 3–1 (25–12, 25–20, 15–25, 25–21).
The Pioneers came out strong, taking control early with aggressive serving and steady offensive execution. After dropping the third set, WRA regrouped with confidence and closed out the match in the fourth behind strong teamwork and energy.
Nicole Neal '26 led the charge with 16 kills, 14 serves, and 4 aces, setting the tone at the net. Amelia Owens '28 added 8 kills and consistent play throughout the match, while Maria Moran '26 provided stability in the back row with 18 serves—including 2 aces—and several key defensive digs.
The Pioneers will look to carry this momentum into their final match of the season, Tuesday, October 21, when they travel to Spire.
