Coach Martha Bayliss '88, has a long history at WRA, and was a founding participant for girls cross country at WRA. She was also first captain for that team, and captain for track and field. Coach Bayliss has been coaching outdoor track and field at Reserve since 2018, and indoor track since 2019. She also coached field hockey for several years. On campus, Coach Bayliss is a Fine & Performing Arts faculty member, teaching ceramics, and an advisor.Â
She graduated from WRA, the University of Michigan for undergraduate studies and Montana State University for her masters degree. Her daughter, a 2021 graduate of WRA was also a track and field captain and her son will long and high jump for the US Coast Guard Academy Bears. Coach Bayliss has lived all over, including Wyoming, New Jersey, Baltimore, England, Singapore, Chicago and Hudson.
