Iiyannaa Graham-Siphanoum coaches volleyball and has also contributed as a softball coach at WRA. Beyond athletics, she serves as the Associate Dean for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging, teaches African American History, and acts as an advisor, exemplifying her dedication to fostering a supportive and inclusive campus environment.

Coach Graham-Siphanoum’s love for volleyball began in 7th grade, where she first played on her middle school team, advancing to high school JV and Varsity teams. Starting as a setter and later becoming a defensive specialist and libero, she developed a deep understanding of the game. Her athletic journey also included playing ice hockey as a center forward and softball as a catcher.

Her coaching career began at WRA leading JV girls volleyball for three consecutive years and as an assistant coach for softball for one season. She also supports the growth of younger athletes by occasionally coaching elementary and middle school players with Force Volleyball. Her coaching philosophy centers on fostering a healthy passion for sports while instilling the lifelong values of teamwork, determination and collaboration. She encourages relentless effort, urging each player to go after every ball, even the tough ones.

A native of Springfield, MA, Coach Graham-Siphanoum enjoys staying active by hiking Ohio’s scenic trails, going for walks and exploring creative arts and crafts. As the eldest of six siblings, she values family time and brings the same warmth and connection to her role at WRA, inspiring her students and athletes to reach their fullest potential.
