Dylan Sheridan '02

Coach Sheridan begins his fifth season at the helm of the nationally recognized WRA Boys Lacrosse program. The team has jumped from #1688 in national rankings to #10 in his time as Head Coach.

As a high school athlete at WRA, Coach Sheridan was a key player on the 2001 Ohio State Championship lacrosse team and served as a captain for both IPSL football championship teams in 2000 and 2001. His collegiate career at Claremont McKenna was equally impressive, with four letters in football, three All-American honors in lacrosse, and being named the 2006 WCLL Player of the Year.

Sheridan’s professional playing career culminated with a Major League Lacrosse (MLL) Championship with the Denver Outlaws in 2014. His coaching accolades are equally noteworthy, including multiple Coach of the Year awards from the Midwest Scholastic Lacrosse Association (MSLA) in 2022 and 2024.

Sheridan has held significant roles with Puerto Rico's national team, and Ohio State’s NCAA Division I team. He has also served as a head coach at Cleveland State and defensive coordinator at Princeton and the University of Denver, with notable championships and achievements during his tenures. This summer, Coach Sheridan served his first season as offensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Waterdogs in the Premier Lacrosse League (PLL), a role he will maintain during WRA off seasons.

In addition to his coaching roles, Sheridan works in WRA’s Advancement Office. He lives in Hudson with his wife Brianne and son Bodhi. His coaching philosophy centers on the belief that success is a byproduct of a disciplined, process-driven approach.
