Drew Jenkins

Coach Drew Jenkins is the Boys Volleyball Coach at Western Reserve Academy, leading the program since its inaugural Varsity season. An accomplished athlete, Coach Jenkins’ playing career includes being a Varsity libero at Walsh Jesuit High School, where he competed in two State Championships, and playing Varsity Men's Volleyball at Wittenberg University.

A native of Twinsburg, OH, Coach Jenkins returned to the area and quickly stepped into coaching at WRA after graduating from Wittenberg. His coaching philosophy emphasizes creating an environment where players feel supported in taking risks and learning from mistakes. Recognizing volleyball as a highly mental game, Coach Jenkins encourages his athletes to focus on growth rather than fear of failure, fostering resilience and confidence on and off the court.

Outside of his coaching role, Coach Jenkins works as a cybersecurity account manager at Binary Defense in Stow, OH. He remains an active competitor, participating in sand and indoor volleyball leagues across Northeast Ohio. His lifelong passion for volleyball and commitment to player development make him an inspiring leader for the Pioneer Boys Volleyball team.
