Western Reserve Academy

Mr. Dan Medkeff’s first day at Western Reserve Academy was Wednesday, Aug. 17, 1983. He began as an athletic trainer, hired for his practical knowledge of first aid. In the fall of 1993, he took over management of Reserve’s former athletic store. Now, for many years, he has served as WRA's Athletic Equipment Manager, and you can find him in the Murdough Athletic Center ensuring all equipment and uniforms are clean, prepped and ready for student-athletes. 

Since joining the Reserve community, Mr. Medkeff has been a wonderful and cheerful asset to the school, and has been dedicated to serving our students as student-athletes for a generation. While not at WRA, Mr. Medkeff enjoys time with his children and grandchildren, his unwavering support of the OSU Buckeyes and his favorite songs from the Rolling Stones.
