Coach Carl Capellas brings a wealth of experience and a deep passion for soccer to his role as Assistant Soccer Coach. A proud Marshall University alumnus, Coach Capellas earned his Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Spanish, followed by a Master’s in Public Administration, all from Marshall.

Coach Capellas's playing career was marked by his time at Marshall University, where he honed his skills and developed a strong foundation in the sport. Building on this foundation, he transitioned into coaching, starting at Marshall and making stops at Case Western Reserve University, Hiram College and the University of Akron.

His coaching philosophy centers around the belief that sports offer a vital avenue for achieving success in life. Through his guidance, Coach Capellas strives to instill discipline, teamwork and perseverance in his players, helping them grow both on and off the field.
