Western Reserve Academy

Coach Cooper Smith joins the Western Reserve Academy baseball program as an assistant coach, bringing both collegiate playing experience and a strong foundation in player development.

A two-year Letterman at Lake High School in Uniontown, Ohio, Coach Smith continued his baseball career at Hiram College, where he pitched and competed at the collegiate level. He graduated in 2025 with a Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management.

In the summer of 2025, Coach Smith served as an assistant coach for the NMC 16U program, gaining valuable experience working with high school athletes and helping guide their development both on and off the field.

Coach Smith is committed to building disciplined, accountable student-athletes through daily habits, attention to detail, and a deep respect for the game. He believes that consistency, preparation, and character are the foundations of both competitive success and long-term personal growth.
