On October 2, 2024, the WRA Girls Varsity Volleyball team achieved a solid victory against Andrews Osborne Academy, winning the match 3-1. The Pioneers faced a tough start in the first set, losing 16-25. However, they quickly regrouped and dominated the next three sets, showcasing their resilience and teamwork. WRA took set two decisively with a score of 25-11, followed by an impressive 25-10 win in set three. They capped off the match with a strong 25-17 performance in the fourth set.

Delaney Pittinger '26 stood out with an impressive 13 kills, earning her the title of player of the match. Mia Maze-Ingram '25 contributed defensively with five blocks, while Livia Farian '28 excelled in the back row with nine digs. With this victory, the Pioneers are looking forward to their next challenge against Spire on Monday, October 7.
